Wiener Werkstätte Exhibit Invitations

In this student project, each tile is an invitation to an exhibition of the Wiener Werkstätte (WW) at the Neue Galerie in New York. Invitees could bring their tiles and assemble a large, randomly-patterned installation that would make up part of the exhibit. This would illustrate the WW’s concept of the gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, with the patronage of the public completing the exhibition.
